- 8" Christmas Mouse, with candle, c.1964. Green felt body. Mouse doll dressed in red felt vest. Printed and painted face, black eyes. Black pompom nose. Applied mouth, pink and white felt; applied ears, two tones of green; applied tail. Gray hair. Mouse carrying a wax candle, orange taper in green holder. Maker's label on base of candle: "15c / copyright by / GURLEY CANDLE CO. / Buffalo, N.Y." Woven label attached to doll: "U.S.A. / Annalee R C 1964 / Mobilitee Doll / Inc. R / MEREDITH, N.H." Hole at neck reveals stuffing material; head can rotate on wire neck.
