- Bowl. Stoneware, wheel thrown. Castellated rim. Glazed on interior and exterior; pale green glaze (celadon green) with brown specks. Incised on base, "Scheier". Foot ring present.

- This bowl was inherited by Mary Eileen Dixey from Dr. Anna Philbrook. In a letter with the donation, Ms. Dixey states "as my memory best serves me, (Dr. Anna Philbrook) received (the Scheier bowl) as a gift when she was honored by the Trustees of the University of New Hampshire honorarily when the University was first given membership as a Phi Beta Kappa Chapter. I think it was 1962 or 1963. The honor was given to two outstanding alumni. Anna was one and the N.H. author of historical novels, Shirley Barker, the other". The bowl has always, over these many years, been used and enjoyed in our household."
