- Painting, Theorem, untitled, by Persis Fayette Eastman (1816-1869), 1834. Oil painting on velvet. Still life painting of fruit. Two watermelons surrounded by pears, strawberries, grapes, oranges, and an ear of corn; all on a blue pedestal. One melon cut open, with knife in front. Ink inscription on paper label in between velvet and glass: "this picture was / painted on velvet by / Miss Persis F. Eastman in 1834". Label removed to accession file. Unframed.
