The banner hung in Davie's garage for many years after the campaign. Some of the holes in the banner are from tacks used for other people's names. Davie served three terms as mayor of Concord: 1946-47, 1956-57, and 1962-65.
Bovie Screen Printing (est. 1950), Concord, NH. Established by Robert Bovie Meyers. Operated out of a Main Street shop. Meyers was a screen printer and illustrator; he was the illustrator for the "Uncle Gus" children's television program during the 1950s. Meyers also owned a Concord warehouse that housed three small NH businesses, each of which became nationally prominent, including Henk Bartelink's Northeast Electronics. Bovie Screen Printing was purchased from Meyers c. 1985 by Marcia and David Ginzler of Hopkinton, NH, who continue to run the business as of 1997.
