- Canister, cylindrical, birchbark, titled "Tree of Life," made by Linda Hartman, Warner, NH, 1995. Brown birchbark box with removable lid, laced on edges with elm bark and decorated with white and brown porcupine quills. Signed on base with heart, human figure, and number "632". Paper label included with canister reads, "Fashioned from materials native to New England, this basket has been worked by hand from barks, vines and roots. It has been oiled to ensure a long and healthy life. / LINDA HARTMAN / BASKET TREE".
