- The muff was part of the wedding outfit of Mary Ann McConihe (1818-1881) of Merrimack, NH. She married Horace Johnson of Chelmsford, MA in 1838. The muff descended to their granddaughter, Mary Bell Willson (1876 - ?) of Manchester, NH, who gave it to the N.H. Historical Society in 1945.
