Surrounding this octagon is a frame of dots with flowers in the corners, then a frame filled with motifs of stylized plants emanating from a footed vessel, followed by a frame filled with stars. Different bands of borders continue, but only on three sides: the first features stylized plants in a footed vessel with deeply scrolled handles, then the final border features an undulating line from which sprout plants at each dip and hump. The base fabric is ribbed by the heavy weft yarns. Applied fringe on three sides; the top edge, which is hemmed, is woven with the inscription: "Rosemond F. Dane no. 36 1831."
