- Wedding Dress of Mary Jane Allison (b.1845, Nova Scotia, then Concord, N.H.). Gray silk taffeta. Thirteen flat mother-of-pearl buttons. Stand up collar, fitted waist, long sleeves with 2 ruffles. Modest train. Gold silk 3" fringe ending in bow in back. Linen twill lining in bodice, crinoline and glazed linen linings in skirt.
