- Dress, Woman's: bodice (a), underskirt (b), overskirt (c). Bodice -- white cotton, plain weave. Three tucks down each side of 17-button center front. Bias stand-up collar, with 2" lace ruffle inside. Some linen lace gently gathered to cuffs of long sleeves to hem. Center back pleat at hemline. Underskirt -- white cotton, plain weave. Drawstring at waist. 28" ruffle at lower edge. Overskirt -- white cotton, plain weave. Back has four 1 1/4" pleats at hem. Front is knee length and is gathered at side seams to drape. Edged with 2 1/4" tucks and 2" lace to match bodice.Underskirt starched. Fabric lawn with leno design woven check.
