- Dress. Silk taffeta, brown and white checked in four pieces. a) Fitted bodice with peplum back. Pleated brown faille vest and collar, buttoned down front. Fitted sleeves with brown faille cuffs. Boned. Tan cotton lining. c) Plain gathered skirt, which has been made over. b) Underskirt of brown cotton muslin with hem of brown and white silk. Sash of the silk. Stole or scarf.
