- Dress. Black silk taffeta, fitted waist, gored at back, plain neck opened down front, sleeves piped at shoulder, two box pleats, black velvet band put on diagonally at wrist. Full skirt pleated at waist. Skirt lined with brown glazed cotton. Waist lined with tan cotton plainweave.
