- Description:
- Dress and collar. Dress of mulberry wool damask fashioned with circassiene bodice and large gigot sleeves with cuffs which fasten with hooks and eyes. Skirt pleated onto waistband. Entire dress lined with brown patterned cotton. Bodice has hook and eye closing up back and at lower front, possibly redesigned for convenience in nursing a baby. Wide double collar of same fabirc. Coarse cotton lining in bodice and lower skirt.
