- Dress, silk. Two-piece bright blue cut embosssed velvet dress. Fitted bodice, buttoned down front, silver bird buttons, pointed peplum front and back. Long fitted sleeves, turnback collar. Lined with tan twill cotton. Lace at cuffs and extra piece for neck. Long skirt, very full back for bustle, draped front, pleated ruffle. Sleeves and skirt lined with glazed cotton. (shattering); stiffener in skirt.
