- Description:
- Dress - silk, plum-colored, two-piece gown, heavily boned and fitted bodice, pointed front and back with little gathered panel. Wide metal and pink glass bead braid around neck and down fronts, piped with pink satin and brocade, embroidered net lace at neck. Sleeves trimmed with braid, tan satin brocade and lace. Long skirt, draped at hip length all around. Panel of the metal and bead braid down front, embroidered net lace over pink satin down front on one side and tan embroidered satin with plum flowers down other side. Pleated dust ruffles of plum, pink and lace. Lined with chartreuse sateen. Silk twill lining, brocatelle panels, lace panel insert, braid with beading trim, linen lace, crinoline and skirt stiffener. Silk taffeta with heavy rep. weave.
