- Dress. Linen plain weave with strong filling yarns "crash". Long skirt, embroidered at front and on stand-up collar, three-quarter,silk embroidered sleeves and card trim at sleeves, silk, embroidery on skirt. Embroidered by donor's mother, Nellie Jane Baker Osgood. Dress made by a dressmaker.

Silk - Provenance:
- Embroidered by Nellie Jane Baker Osgood, mother of the donor, in the early 1900s. It was then completed by a dressmaker, since Mrs. Osgood did not like, or do, "plain sewing."
