- Top hat, Paris. Man's black beaver top hat, crown convex, brim to top. Brim slightly shaped, not rolled, bound in black grosgrain. Narrow black grosgrain band around base of crown. Black silk under brim. Wide black sweat band. Lined with white paper. Beige fabric top lining, imprinted in black, "PICOLI / 178/Rue Gamot / PARIS." within shield.
