- Top hat, John T. W. Ham, Dover, NH, in original box. Man's black silk plush top hat, crown convex, brim to top. Brim rolled on both sides, bound in black grosgrain. Grosgrain band around base of crown. Black broadcloth under brim..Wide brown leather band inside crown. Lined with white satin. Label on top lining, printed in black on shield: "J.T.W.H. / & CO. / HAM / THE / HATTER / DOVER, N. H." Size 7 label inside. Hole in top, with metal screen. In oval brown pasteboard box.
