- Hat, man's uniform. Black leather militia hat with squared-off visor that rests horizontally to the crown. Flat top. White and green cut yarn plume. Decorative stamped brass chin straps in layered shell pattern attached by two stamped brass rosettes, and leather strap across back of crown. Narrow leather sweat band. Underside of visor is green.
