- Hat, man's uniform. Bell-crowned black leather hat with down-sloping curved visor, trimmed with pressed leather button on front of hat and wing of a pressed brass eagle below. Shell-scale pattern ornamental chin straps fastened by two pressed brass eagle round rosettes, and with leather strap at back of crown. Leather sweat band. Plume missing. "Chadwick" written in pencil inside.
