- Hat, man's uniform. Black leather bell-shaped militia hat with sharply downturned, rounded visor. Trimmed with white feather plume. Slightly domed top. Stamped brass eagle plate, detached, with broken wings. Gold colored ornamental brass chin straps attached with two round pressed plates with circular design and leather strap at back of cap. Black leather sweat band.
