- Headband / Bonnet, mourning. Black tissue silk, pleated and sewn to black satin ribbon. 7" wide, black embroidered lace gathered into "drop end" at each side. Hand sewn.

Silk - Provenance:
- Bequested by Carolyn Louise Jenkins, from the Kimball Jenkins estate. Probably belonged to one of Carolyn's ancestors who had lived at the estate, possibly Sarah Kimball who outlived all her younger siblings and saved other mourning relics from the Kimball family.
