Scenes copied from original drawings, "A Visit to the Camp," 1779, and "Hints to Bad Horsemen," 1781, by Henry William Bunbury (1750-1811); engravings by William Dickinson (1746-1823) and Thomas Watson (1743-1781). Three repeating printed horizontal scenes depict British army camps. Second scene shows a man on horseback riding toward a soldier and two gentlemen in a military camp, squirrel on top of a post, "GOOD WINES" sign on a pole, and tents in background. Third scene shows two British gentlemen walking and dog, a cluster of drums, barrels and a flag around a cannon, a rider thrown by a horse, and a fence and cottage with the letters "A.I." in the peak, surrounded by trees. Two panels of fabric hand stitched together horizontally up the center; hemmed 0.25" and sewn with running stitch of red thread across top; double folded hem, hand stitches with white thread along bottom; vertical creases from hems and remnants of white threads on right and left sides of panel.
