- Description:
- Rug. Concentric circle design. Center circle crocheted with worsted wool yarns in turquoise, pale gray, red, and pale pink. Center is surrounded by braiding with cotton woven and knitted fabrics. Next ring is made of more braided rounds with crocheted centers, followed by a ring of Turkish knitting edged with braiding. Third ring consists of larger rounds of braiding with crocheted centers, and finally the border is made of Turkish knitting in bands of various colors, edged with braiding. Areas of the rug that are not braided are lined on the back with wool fabric.
