- Description:
- Woven Carpet. Oriental type carpet with a center field design featuring a large pointed oval shape filled with stylized flowers. This center is in shades of pink, white, and light blue, surrounded by dark blue and set in a cream-colored field filled with more stylized flowers. The carpet is bordered with a dark blue band filled with stylized flower motifs. Inside the corners of this outer border are pink sections, roughly triangular to fill the corner, also filled with stylized flowers. The sides are selvedge; one end is plain-woven cotton warp and weft without the pile, and the other end is self-fringed.
