- Description:
- Leather saddle. Early dipped-seat type without leaping horn. Wide plain skirt on near side. Padded and decoratively stitched seat, in floral design. Cantle and underside of horns of smooth leather with decorative stitching. Wide woven strapping for girth and strap holding flaps in place. Thick stuffed pad underneath in poor condition and now separated from saddle; originally tied on with thin leather strings. No stirrups.
