- Klev-Bro Shoe Manufacturing Company , Derry, NH, was founded in 1938 by Louis and Paul Kleven and Samuel A. Gass. In 1958, they opened a new factory on Route 28 in Derry which remained in operation until it closed in 1988. The company was sold to Keith Industries in the late 1950's, but it was managed by the Klevens until it closed. Keith still makes men's shoes in Massachusetts. Klev-Bro primarily made women's shoes.
