On right side chamfer starts in a notch at top edge of extension and mirrors that on left side. Top of extension is angled downward slightly and has slight concave surface. Cutting pattern is a flat surface with a semi-circular groove and then another flat surface at same height as concave groove. Right-hand edge of concave surface is defined by insert 0.15" wide x 0.1" high. Insert has shrunken slightly as ends are slightly below toe and heel surfaces. Mark on heel "1" over double-curved line with small circle at each end which is "2". Stamps on front. Vertical stamp facing right side, curved upward slightly, maybe arched box style stamp, serrated edges left and right side, symmetrical curlycue center top. Left and right edges have curlycues. Bottom edge has serrations. Horizontal line between the two lines of text which has small curl at ends of it: "COPELAND & CO. / WARRANTED". Below that is a horizontal stamp: "F. W. TAYLOR." Iron has tang on left side. Three diagonal line close together, bottom side of tang near front. Stamp on end of tang near top. ".....TOOL ....CO CAST STEEL".
