- Description:
- Plane, molding, unfinished. Light brown, fine-grained hardwood. Chamfer starts in a somewhat long, narrow slot halfway up front, extends upward to slightly rounded front corner, extends across top to semi-boat-tail rear end then extends down side to somewhat narrow slot. Chamfer on right side roughly mirrors that on right side. Long, flat chamfer on left side across bottom from front to back. Sole curves up slightly at front and back. On right side more elliptical-shaped chamfer that does not extend the entire length of body. Cutting surface concave, width 1.1"; mouth opening at bed width 1.3". Sole height at front 2.6", at back 2.5". Body width at back 1.25", at front: 1.35". Front surface of mouth curved. Hand-carved slot in bed to accommodate fastener.
