- Plane, molding. "M W". Dark-brown hardwood with some annular rings showing on left and right side. Chamfering starts of front near mid-point, extends up front to the somewhat-rounded front corner, across top to remnants of back edge. On right side, chamfering starts at top edge of extension, extends upward to front edge and across top where it ends in the missing section just behind where iron extends above top surface. Shallow groove top surface of extension. On left side is chamfer from front to back, widest is 0.8", at front and back 0.6 ". Cutting pattern is concave groove. Iron width 1.13"; groove depth approx. 0.14". Stamp on toe, horizontal near bottom: "MW". Iron has tang on left side. End turned over from striking.
