- Compass, Watchmaker's. Bent, flat metal bar, with pointed ends. Bolt and nut arrangement used to adjust width of the points. Grooved rod screwed into middle of bend as handle. One of tips has a slot and hole, other is a double prong setup, with a single round hole in each prong.
