- Embroidery pattern, floral design. Pencil and paper. Fairly translucent tracing paper. Brittle. Light tan in color. Pencil design on this sheet almost identical to design on 1980.502.17.2. Simpler elements of design on this sheet than on sheet .2. I (David Colglazier) would say that this sheet preliminary design layout to that on sheet .2, because some of design elements repeated on this sheet by lines right adjacent to each other. It was drawn one way, then adjusted a little to left or right, or perhaps even up and down. Some of the symmetry seems to be better executed in sheet .2. Some of its design extends upwards on this sheet beyond that of sheet .2 in a few areas. Design on this sheet does not extend down as far as on sheet .2.
