Description:

Embroidery pattern, paper with floral vine design. Pencil and paper. Heavy brown, craft-like material, somewhat brittle. Folded in half lengthwise. Fanciful floral pattern with notations extending from one end to the other. Seems to be a long, curving stem with very large radius segments from one end sheet to other, roughly near middle. No repeat evident of pattern. Many small stems with fanciful leaves and blossoms on them. Roughly ten design elements or clusters from top to bottom. Perhaps one 5-petal blossom repeated only. Pencil notations in clusters. From top, descriptions of "[both] green". Next, a line leading to "black rimmed". Another "[taupe]" and "grey green". Another rough cluster, upper right corner: "green", "pale green", "grey", "green", "dark green" with line. Curved line with "old apricots". Another with "green". "[chain] grey". "[trimmed] rouge spots". Upper left corner: "blue", "[wood] green", "[green]". Adjacent to that, another description with two unknown words, then "dark blue". More towards center, still near top: "[augo] cross with dark blue". On stem: "dark blue", "darker wood green" "[big] wood green", "white", "green", "[...al] pink", "lavender", "light blue". In center: "dark blue but light than" with arrow, "off white", "[...u] yell", "cream", "yellow", "yellow", "cream". "[....than big] [.....]", "rouge", "deep orange". Central near right: "two tones rose", "d blue stitches", "almon[d] background", "deep blue stitches". In center: "darkest green". Then with line: "pale green". Then, "cream" "[unknown]", "green". Back to center: "light wood greens and tans", "d rouge [tang] than big knots", "d orange", "deep orange", "light wood greens tans". On right side: "deep blue stitches", "[.....] [rose]", "d blue stitches", "salmon background". Central left: "orchids with green [pettles] (sic)". In center: "ye white", "bl gr", "green". Right side center in group: "green", "blue", "violet", "lavender seeds", "heavy grey blue polish", "d grey". Lower center: "deep blue", "grey", "gr grey". On right side: "tan", "white". Back towards center: "[strong dull green]", "soft rose", "yel wood green". Near bottom on right: "orchids", "green", "[gr] yel", "bl gr", "dg".
