a. Pencil drawings on tracing paper. Pencil lines on this sheet fairly heavy because of being drawn over several times. Some bulges on back side from pressure of pencil. Deer-like animal facing right in bottom center, eating some fanciful plant material that consists of possible fruits, near bottom of taller, really fanciful plant with bizarre blossoms and/or leaves. Fanciful floral group with six blossoms on two stems emanating from a 5-leaf cluster behind deer. More fanciful fruits, blossoms and leaves from middle to top of sheet. Some of plant materials run off edge of sheet.
b. Paper and pencil pattern. This sheet continuation of a. Short stem and 5-petal blossom in lower right corner. Stem lines up with top of sheet a. To its left, another stem further up which ends at a fanciful leaf cluster. Segment of fanciful leaf cluster that joins up with segment on sheet (a) at right side of bottom. Fanciful leaf with another 5-petal blossom on short stem on right side center of sheet. Three stems at top of sheet. One stem with 3-petal cluster with larger fanciful blossom. One stem at left leads to segment of leaf. Central stem leads off paper, but curves to right where two fanciful blossoms could connect if paper longer.
