Man (gold miner) holding hydraulic hose spraying at mountainside; hut in background next to river on right. Pencil inscription upper right corner: "Washington". Pencil inscriptions on reverse: "June 25.58 / May 27"; to right, "100.00 / 150.00 / 25.00 / 25.00", and in blue ink at left upside down: "Batchelder". Loose drawing, not from any of the sketchbooks.
