- Description:
- Box, medicine. Square paperboard box with removable cover. Off-white, slightly greenish applied paper covering on outside at bottom edge and top edge. Narrow brown band at edges. Brown wraps over edge and partway up inside of cover. Interior extension extending upward to hold lid in place on bottom portion. Extension off-white cover paper extending over its top edge and partway down inside sides. Imprinted "A. PERLEY FITCH, / CONCORD, N. H." on cover; inscribed in ink, "29.." / Cascara / Sagrada / Tablets". Pencil inscription on bottom: "Shail & / Doans".
