Material:
Glass
Dimensions:
H-10.2 Dia-4.4 inches
Provenance:
Found in collection, 1966. A card in the Pratt file lists three pieces of Gov. Morrill's Stiegel glassware. Two of these have been identified as a pitcher and a tumbler in blown 3-mold (not Stiegel) by the labels attached to them. This decanter is very similar both in pattern and in the softness of the design, almost appearing expanded. It is probably the third piece, although there is no evidence of a label ever having been attached. See 1918.017.01 and 1918.017.02. Donated by Eliza Philbrick (1836-1927).
