- Rum bottle. Colorless pressed glass. Quart size. Cylindrical body, curved shoulders, tapered neck and flat and rounded collar around top. Printed paper label attached to front of bottle: "FINEST OLD RUM / UNEXCELLED IN THE UNITED STATES / Wm. Ward & Sons. / PORTSMOUTH, N.H." with view of distillery at 19 Dennet Street, Portsmouth. Remnants of paper seal attached to neck. "ONE QT." embossed on reverse. Stylized "B" embossed on bottom. Two vertical mold seams.
