- Canning Jar. Aquamarine pressed glass, quart, cylindrical, ground lip, mould seams straight through lip and body to base. "45" printed on bottom. "MASON'S PATENT NOV 30th 1858" printed on front with keystone shape between "MASON'S" and "PATENT." Zinc screw-top lid with kline solid white glass stopper. "GENUINE BOYD CAP FOR MASON'S JARS" printed on top of lid around perimeter.
