- Canning jar. Aquamarine pressed glass; quart, cylindrical, ground lip, mould seams straight through lip and body to base. "C7 PAT NOV 26" printed in semi-circular formation on base with "375" in center. "MASON'S PATENT NOV. 30th 1858" printed on front with a cross between "MASON'S" and "PATENT." Zinc screw-top lid with kline solid white glass stopper, "BOYD PORCELAIN LINING" and "MASON FRUIT JAR. CO." around perimeter. "MASON FRUIT JAR CO. PHILADELPHIA" printed on top of lid with decorative scrolls and starburst in center.
