Description:

Goblet - Colorless blown and molded glass. Rounded bowl with curved, tapered sides; short round stem, and flat, circular foot. Copper wheel engraved ivy wreath, open at top with the letter "L" in center on side of bowl. One of five pieces.

Donor's father Harry T. Lord of Manchester, his father Harrison Dearborn Lord and his father John Lord, born 1/22/1797, died 4/28/1883, married Mary Dearborn of Sanbornton, N.H., born 4/17/1797, died 3/22/1879. Married 8/23/1823, celebrated 50th Wedding Anniversary 1873 for which goblets were made.
