- Saltshaker - Blue pressed glass; ovoid body with ring around neck, threaded rim and round foot. Starburst pattern pressed in bottom of concave base. Vertical mold seams. Molded Britannia cap with fourteen holes in top surmounted by pointed finial, interior threaded rim. "DANA K. ALDEN BOSTON/ PAT.DEC. 25, 1877" stamped around top of cap. Iron cutter with eight prongs attached to inside of cap. Part of a group of four.
