Above, in semi-circle, "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY". Reverse: bust of Zachary Taylor, in uniform, facing left, four buttons on coat. Above, in semi-circle, "GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS". "Common" type.
