- Description:
- Jar with Cover. Semi-porcelain stoneware. Ivory matte glaze (Worcester type) tinted with light green. Cylindrical body, tapered at center; flared base with low foot on bottom. There are six scrolled panels around the sides, gilded and painted with floral spray on three of the panels. Three additional panels have a diamond pattern in relief. Gilded leaves and scrolls in relief are highlighted with gilding; and knob in center of circular cover. Printed in red on the bottom:"HAMPSHIRE POTTERY/ J. S. Taft & Co./ KEENE, NH".
