- Crock. Buff-colored stoneware. Crock has tapered sides, slightly flared and beaded lip, and flat bottom. Dark brown glaze on exterior; interior glaze is dark brown on top, shading to light brown on bottom. No maker's mark

- A collection of objects from the Wilton, N.H. home of the donor's mother, Bertha Gage (Stone) Batchelder (1889-1977). The objects in the gift came from the home of Josephine H. Gage (1850-1919), the sister of the donor's grandmother's Eliza Jane (Gage) Stone (1859-1938).
