Gift of Frank Albert Watson prior to 1965. Undated newspaper clipping (in accession folder) provides this provenance: "This punch bowl once belonged to Lydia Bradley, daughter of Isaac Bradley of Haverhill, Mass. . . . Isaac Bradley grew to manhood and became a leading citizen of Haverhill. He married and had a daughter, Lydia, who married a man named Heath, and this punch bowl may have been given her as a wedding present by her father. Lydia had two children, Mehitable, born 1737, and Betsy, born 1740. . . . Mehitable, who inherited the punch bowl, was married to Daniel Stevens of Plaistow, who came to Salisbury, N.H. in 1768. In 1769 they had a daughter Susan, who was married to Daniel Fellows in 1789. Daniel Fellows and his wife had a daughter Lydia, born in 1794. The daughter was named for Lydia Bradley, and so the punch bowl naturally came to her. She married Moses Watson . . . . Moses and Lydia had a son Albert, born in 1820, who was the father of Frank Albert Watson, the donor of the punch bowl."
