- Description:
- Jug with cork (cork is inside jug). Salt glaze stoneware. Globular shaped body tapering down to a flat base. Narrow neck with rolled lip. Loop handle extends from top of neck to widest part of body. Glaze is pinkish-gray in color with black speckles. Band of what may be discoloration around the midsection. The discoloration appears gray in some areas and orange-yellow in others. Parallel groves on bottom from wheel throwing process. No maker's mark seen.
