- Souvenir Plate. Semi-porcelain stoneware. Square shaped, footed plate with an ivory matte glaze (Worcester type). The edge is raised and fluted and outlined with gilt and sprinkles of gilt on the border. The center decoration is a brown transfer print scene of "KENILWORTH INN BILTMORE N.C." as printed below the image. Large front view of a many storied, multi-roofed, resort-type inn with several entrances. Marked on the bottom in red is "HAMPSHIRE POTTERY. / J. S. Taft / KEENE, N.H." encircled twice. Paper sticker on the front with price information.
