- Description:
- Hair Receiver. Semi-porcelain stoneware. Ovoid body with ronded sides and small neck. Flat cover with rounded edge. Ivory matte glaze (Worcester type) with a faint tint of blue with decoration. Rococco designs on each side with diamond pattern in relief in the center with gilt highlights, in between are sprays of flowers. Decoration on top of the cover. Printed on bottom in red: "HAMPSHIRE POTTERY / J. S. Taft / KEENE, NH" encircled twice.
