It was next owned by John R. Morron (1867-1950), a collector of Webster memorabilia, who bequeathed it to his step-son, Lowell R. Burch (1887-1962) and his wife, Katherine W. Burch (1895-1962) of New York City, Niantic, CT, and Littleton, NH. It then passed to their daughter, Catherine B. Symmes (1918-1996). The set was donated to the New Hampshire Historical Society by Catherine B. Symmes, at the request of her mother, Katherine W. Burch.
