- Pitcher. White molded porcelain with clear glaze. Oblong ovoid body with curved neck and curved mouth, applied loop handle. Molded scrolls on front and back of body around rim and back of handle. Blue transfer printed seal of Phillips Exeter Academy on front of body:" NOV HAN 1781 SIGILL PHILLIP EXONIENSIS ACADEMIAE" in band around scene of sunrise with trees and beehive. Blue transfer printed scrolled floral band around neck with Phillips crest on front and large "A" on back. Floral band down back of handle.
